- Sat. July 31, 2021 – 22nd Annual Stop the Violence Back to School Rally (Speaker: Actor Todd Bridges) @ NE Gainesville MLK Center Citizen’s Park/ 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Alachua County School Board Flyer “HERE”. P.A.V.E. (People Against Violence Enterprises, Inc.) website “HERE”. Hand out E-Scooter ”PAMPHLETS” at this back-pack give-away to families.
- Thursday, August 5, 2021 – Stop On Red Gainesville event at W. University Ave. & 13th St. / 10:00 AM – 12 Noon. Hand out information and hold safety signs. “CLICK HERE” for a past event news coverage spot.
- Wed. September 15, 2021 – Fall Volunteer Fair @ Santa Fe College Oak Grove / 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Sign-up students to volunteer for community bike & ped. events/activities/opportunities.
- Tues. October 5, 2021 – Cub Scout Pack 71 On-bike safety training course “Bike Rodeo” and helmet fitting @ Covenant Presbyterian Church / 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Monitor bike safety stations, info. booth, assist progression through course, certificate distribution and bike check-ups.
- Thurs. October 7, 2021 – “Screaming for Safety ” Trunk or Treat” and helmet fitting @ GFR Safety City / 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Handing out safety information, candy and monitoring fitness/play stations.
- Wed. January 26, 2022 – Spring Volunteer Fair @ Santa Fe College Oak Grove / 11:00 AM – 2:00. Sign-up students to volunteer for community bike & ped. events/activities/opportunities.
- Wed. April 20, 2022 – Volunteering for the Planet @ Santa Fe College Oak Grove / 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Sign-up students to volunteer for community bike & ped. events/activities/opportunities.
